How to get rid of joint pain?
I am doing PE this summer. It is three hours long. I pushed myself hard last week and I could hardly walk. Im very stiff in my knee and ankle joints. I am wearing an ankle support because my ankle will sometimes give out. Is there any remedy to help get rid of the stiffness AND the pain? I can hardly run now because when I put the pressure on any of my joints it feels like they are stiff and fragile. I am wanting to run so I can improve.

- If you are having this level of joint pain, you are doing way too much, too fast. If you haven't been a runner in the past, you need to gradually build up your muscle and joint strength instead of pushing so hard. Also, if you have joint problems (like your ankle problem) you would be better off with a lower-impact kind of exercise -- biking, swimming, and other activities that don't put so much stress on your knees and ankles. To help treat the damage, you can take Advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve (naproxen) but be sure to follow the dosage on the package. Take it regularly (according to directions) to decrease the inflammation and pain -- it doesn't work as well if you only take it once you have pain.
- go to a chiropactor
- simple remedy that you may have tried. Is to have a long hot bath, as the water relaxes and loosens up your joints making injuries recover quicker. Also eat well, with protein foods and to drink plenty of milk. Usually works.
- It sounds like joint pain and inflammation are bothering you a lot...have you tried an ALL natural supplement. One of no hidden ingredients, targeted at joint pain and inflammation such as Flexnow joint formula. It's all natural and has helped me so much because before taking it, I had extreme back pain, shoulder, and neck pain. It may be due to poor posture, but I have a history of arthritis in my family, so that may attribute to the problem to. Flexnow has helped me, and since it's all natural and only has one ingredient, I feel satisfied with taking it and recommend it to friends and family. Whatever you choose to do, make sure to do research, and consult with your doctor. I hope this helps!
