Joint Pain

Any tips for arthritis pain in legs?

My grandmother has been suffering with pain for years. Doctors have did MRIs to rule out blood clots/blockages. They say it's just arthritis and I'm trying to find alternatives for pain relief. She will try anything!

  1. glucosamine chrondroiton
  2. I was prescribed naproxen sodium... prescription strength aleve... for my legs, it worked very very well.
  3. I found a very nice cream for pain. It is called arnica and is found in bigger health food stores. Just apply anywhere there is pain. I hope this works for her!
  4. Over the counter stuff like, Glucosimin w/ Congointon, Aleve Liquid Gel, Arthritis Creams, and believe it or not Cod Liver Oil Capsules. The capsules are great, she won't feel relief the first day, but after about a week as long as she takes them everyday from now on she will notice significant relief. Arthritis pain is very painful, people who have never suffered from it have no idea, I know I didn't. She may want to talk to her doctor about a mild pain reliever such Tramadol or Davocet U100. Also Naproxen is prescribed alot for arthritis. Seem that Arthritis flare ups are worse this time of year because of the humidity so if you can keep her in a comfortable atmosphere it will help also.
