Can an excess of adrenalin cause muscle pain?
When I have a very bad nightmare and I’m terrified and my heart races, sometimes it’s so intense that all my muscles hurt, but I don’t move while sleeping. It stops when I wake up and relax. Is it normal? Can an excess of adrenalin cause muscle pain? Thanks everybody

- hi, i can give you anything, true about all live, i wait you beast regards
- How do you know you don't move if you're asleep? Having spent some time in a sleep lab I can tell you folks do all sorts of unlikely things. However, even if you are still, epinephrine (the proper name) causes muscles to contract in a "fight or flight" state of readiness-this could very well cause stiffness and soreness.
