How can I know the right kind of doctor to look for when You have both nerve & muscle pain?

Pain is mainly when lifting certain way, but only in one arm & in the opposite leg when walking up or down stairs.

1. Start with a general practitioner (your family doctor, for instance), then let that doctor refer you if he/she is unable to help you. Don't just guess--they are trained to do that.
2. Have a Rheumatologist look at it. Especially a specialist on nonarthicular reumatism.
