What did you find was the best ever pain relief?

With my son i used Gas and Air and absolutely LOVED it. Its does take the edge of the pain and thats all i needed throughout my whole labour and birth. What was your favourite pain relief?

1. Epidural and LOVED it! =)
2. With my first- it was squeezing the F*CK out of my boyfriend's hand. With the second- it was having my head/scalp massaged in a circular motion.
3. Epidural and frustration with being in labor for almost 20 hours. :-p
4. I used breathing and concentration. My hubby told me I was hitting opera notes. I was concentrating on keeping my pitch, which helped me to not focus on the pain.
5. my first, I had an epidural my second labor was too fast to have anything, so it was all natural and I loved it!
6. Morphine!
7. I labored for 6 hours before it was decided that I had to have a c-section....honestly it was kinda nice not having to do any work this time around!! Being all numb and not feeling a thing was awesome! But with my first, I did a shot in my spinal cord and I loved it! I think they call it a walking epidural.
8. I decided to get the epidural.I am so glad I did.I was able to relax and enjoy my birth experience.:)
